This study explores the effectiveness of tools like Quizlet, YouTube, quizzes, and playbook activities in improving the speaking abilities of 7th-grade students at Purísima de Macas School in Morona Santiago. Using a mixed-methods approach, it combines quantitative data from quizzes, oral assessments, and tests with qualitative insights from teacher observations, student feedback, and parent input. Findings show that these tools contribute to noticeable improvements in pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary retention, and students' confidence in speaking English. The multimedia and interactive nature of tools, like videos and digital flashcards, allowed students to practice language skills both inside and outside the classroom, resulting in higher motivation, engagement, and active participation in speaking activities. However, challenges such as limited technology access and the need for teacher training were noted.
