The issue is centered on sixth grade students’ low English proficiency, which is brought on by a lack of a supportive environment and ineffective traditional teaching strategies. The main goal is to improve reading comprehension by implementing a VLE with Moodle. Conducting a diagnostic assessment, providing instructional resources and technology, and monitoring student development are some of the specific goals. A pretest and posttest were given to twenty students as part of a mixed methods approach to evaluate their growth and the usefulness of the platform. The reading comprehension scores significantly improved, and the proficiency levels increased by around 20%. Besides, student enthusiasm and engagement were revitalized by the Moodle platform’s integration with the ADDIE instructional design.
