This qualitative-quantitative research aimed to investigate the impact on the effect of collaborative tools in the process of learning L2 and controlling speaking anxiety. Title: The use of Collaborative Tools to reduce Speaking Anxiety in 6th graders EFL students. Speaking anxiety is a major obstacle for those learning English as a foreign language (EFL). Still, this research has been done on how collaborative tools positively affect speaking anxiety in various learning settings. This study looks into how collaborative tools, both in-person and online, affect speaking anxiety among language learners of foreign languages. A speaking anxiety survey was used to gather information from 13 EFL students before and after collaborative tools. The findings showed that speaking anxiety levels changed after collaborative tools in in-person settings; however, there were no appreciable variations among all participants. The results imply that language learners may benefit from collaborative tools regarding speaking anxiety reduction. This research advances our knowledge of practical methods for reducing speaking anxiety in EFL students. We recommend including presentations, gradual feedback, and mini-speeches in class, these methods encourage and motivate students while reducing rivalry and comparison among them, so giving students confidence and worth their efforts can help them perform their speaking skills, also creating a welcoming environment in the classroom encourage to manage anxiety, the practice of some muscle relaxation also helped pupils with stress and speaking anxiety, during this project process we realized that the use of Collaborative tools created a nice atmosphere where all members felt sure to contribute to learn L2 and stopped anxiety at speaking time.
