Abstract
This study focuses on research on the use of role plays as a pedagogical and therapeutic tool to improve oral skills in various contexts. The central problem addressed is the lack of effective oral communication skills in today's society, despite the crucial importance of this skill in education, career and everyday life. The purpose of this research is to examine how role-playing can address this problem and contribute to the development of strong oral skills. The research is developed in a diverse educational and therapeutic context, including students of different ages, professionals in work environments and people involved in therapies where oral communication is essential. The methodology combines theoretical and empirical approaches, including literature review, surveys, questionnaires and interviews. The results highlight the effectiveness of role-playing in improving oral skills, as well as the adaptability of this strategy to a variety of contexts. Participants perceive significant improvements in their ability to express themselves clearly, listen actively, and persuade others. The proposal suggests the broader incorporation of role plays in educational, work, and therapeutic programs, with specific adaptations for different groups and contexts. The findings underscore the importance of strengthening oral communication skills for personal and professional success and highlight the potential of role-playing as an effective tool to achieve this goal. this research has shed light on the vital role that role plays can play as a pedagogical and therapeutic tool to enhance oral communication skills in a diverse range of contexts. The study addressed the prevalent issue of inadequate oral communication abilities in today's society, despite the undeniable significance of this skill in education, career, and daily life. Through a combination of theoretical and empirical methods, the research demonstrated the effectiveness of role-playing in ameliorating oral skills and its adaptability to various settings.
