Abstract
This research deals with the disconnection between traditional teaching practices in Language and Literature and the disinterest of students, in a context where assessment prioritizes the quantitative over creativity. Objectives: To develop gamified activities on Wordwall to promote student participation around language and literature in elementary school students at the Cristo Rey Fiscal School. Methodology: A qualitative methodology of descriptive and projective type was applied. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires applied to students and teachers. Results: The results revealed a teacher-centered pedagogical model, with passive dynamics and a punitive evaluation that generates apathy or anxiety. The underutilization of technological resources was confirmed. The teachers confirmed these challenges and showed a receptive attitude towards innovation, with the advantage of their previous familiarity with the Wordwall platform. Conclusions: in conclusion, the study gives a concrete and viable proposal of activities in this platform and designed to respond to the problems detected, this proposal seeks to transform the classroom climate, encourage active participation and reorient the evaluation towards a formative and motivating approach.
